General Requirements
  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding and experience with BAC suite including: SAM (System Availability Management), EUM (End User Management), SLM (Service Level Management), SAM (System Availability) with Sitescope, BPM (Business Process Monitor), RUM (Real User Monitor) & Diagnostics Software
  • Integrates HP Software - Operations Manager, Network Node manager and or HP CMDB and DDMa, the position will integrate with BAC, Real User Monitor (RUM), Business Process Monitors (BPM), SiteScope and our Diagnostics tools (J2EE and .NET), HP ITSM HP BSA HP PPM and with other 3rd party with other systems

Job Description
 
The Solution Architect serves as a principal member of the engineering team and designs and documents overall architecture, oversees development, serves as an expert in technical challenge areas, troubleshoots and corrects problems across multiple systems, assists in software deployment, manages software and provides and implements architectural recommendations to clients regarding server and application management efforts.  A Solution Architect must rely on his/her ability with systems, networks and application flow to identify and resolve configuration issues and problems.
 
Ultimately, the Solution Architect serves as an essential member of the Customer Solutions team, responsible for the successful deployment and customization of the tools on customer premises.  He/She will provide data center automation consulting services to customers and should be comfortable representing the company.  He/She should expect to use his/her expert-level system administration skills and strong understanding of cross-platform administration and large-scale, distributed systems.
